IATF 16949:2016 Clause by Clause

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course covers the changes to the requirements and the compliance expectations of IATF 16949:2016. The IATF 16949:2016 emphasizes improved risk management with stated areas of risks to be considered throughout the clauses.

The standard fully respects ISO 9001:2015 structure and requirements, seamlessly adding the additional and supplemental requirements unique to the automotive sectors in the relevant areas.

This means IATF 16949:2016 is not a stand-alone quality management system (QMS), but is to be implemented with ISO 9001:2015.

An organization wishing to transition to IATF 16949:2016 will first need to perform a gap analysis and address actions to close gaps between the current QMS and IATF 16949.

This 2-day course will provide the knowledge required for key QMS personnel to interpret the standard requirements and provide clarity on the new and enhanced requirements of IATF 16949:2016.

The goal will be to effectively use the gap analysis to identify actions required, implement the changes and prepare for a successful re-certification.
