COURSE DESCRIPTION

The context in which an organization works today is characterized by accelerated change, globalization of markets and the emergence of knowledge as a principal resource. The impact of quality extends beyond customer satisfaction: it can also have a direct impact on the organization’s reputation.

The first part of this management overview identifies the core requirements of ISO 9001:2015 focusing on leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system (QMS).

The second part of the overview identifies the use of risk-based thinking in which where preventive actions is effectively applied across all business processes. As potential risks can occur at any stage of a business process, it becomes imperative that relevant key stakeholders should plan and implement actions to address risks and opportunities that may arise at any stage of the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle in the QMS.

On completion of this overview training, the senior management team will be able to acquire knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 new high-level structure (HLS) and its corresponding requirements.
